You really like iChat AV. You have many friends using it too
and your buddy list is full of small icons that they have created.
But something about the icons isn't quite right. They are so...
"static".
Enhancing iChat AV
With the help of iChat Streaming Icon an ordinary chat room suddenly
becomes a video conference. The meaning of "away" is immediately
visible. Anybody can see your video or animation - even non-iChat
users (i.e. on Windows). And if you don't have a camera, you can
still replace your static icon with a nice animation.
Very, very easy to use
If you have iChat AV all you need to do is to download the application
(less than 120KB) and start it. If you have a camera then your buddy
icon will be replaced by its video and everyone who has you in his/her
buddy list can see the change instantly. To stream some animation
just drag a QuickTime™ compatible file onto iChat Streaming
Icon and you're done.
Anything goes
iChat Streaming Icon can read almost any* file
format - thanks to QuickTime™. From a simple animated gif that
you got from a web page to a full blown .avi or .mov file of the latest
movie trailer. Flash, PDF and multi-TIFFs work fine too.
